What is the Enneagram?
The Enneagram is a structure for categorizing nine basic personality types, focused primarily on WHY we behave in certain ways. With this focus, it is unlike other personality inventories that simply highlight behavior. Understanding motivation for behavior opens our minds and hearts to responding to ourselves and others with greater compassion and grace.

Who I Am
Hi! I'm a retired teacher with a degree in psychology who discovered the Enneagram while searching for a new purpose. As a Type 9, I am able to see people and circumstances from many viewpoints. I've been married for 30+ years to textbook Type 1. Together, we raised awesome young men (Types 3 & 2) and we are now enjoying our grandchildren. In addition to the wonderful life lessons learned as a wife and mother, I have had the joy of being a pastor's wife for our entire marriage. I believe life in ministry was my training ground for what I love most about Enneagram coaching...leading others to look beyond behavior to discover the 'why' and find grace and compassion. I've studied the Enneagram from various teachers and received my certification through Your Enneagram Coach. I'm so glad you stopped by my page as you search for information on the Enneagram.
